There is no Customer Service at ViewSonic just an unwillingness to deal with a problem. We have a monitor, one of many we presently own and have owned, that started with a red line down the side and only grew. The assistant, using the monitor, captured the initial line and all the lines that eventually took up the whole screen. They claim damage, which is not the case, and refuse to look at the pictures. We will never buy another product from this company and I would suggest anyone looking to buy a product research the product and the service you will receive from this company.

Appalling customer services.
Less than a month after receiving the monitor it's showing a red line vertically.
I receive a text implying they'll pick it up - leaving me with no monitor.
Ringing through to repairtech - they are bordering on hostile, belligerent and unhelpful. Do they care? Nope.
Do they have a method of escalation. Nope.
Would I buy another 'quality' monitor from then. Nope.

I would like to voice my concern about this company. On the surface it looks shiny and vibrant with great website nice and colorful with seemingly great customer care right?

Not in my case, I purchased a monitor online and within one month it went bad.....I was sent an email with detailed instructions on how to get a replacement. Part of the instructions said to ship it back to Viewsonic. The postage was 44.00 so I figured that would be easily credited to my credit card no problem no fuss right? ..... NOT the case. I spoke with Jacqueline A. @ ViewSonic Customer Support who said I should have called first if shipping was a concern and got a shipping label sent to me. Really ? WHERE in the instructional email did it say to do that? So let me get this straight, I bought a monitor from Viewsonic for over 200 dollars it stopped working? Now to get it fixed I have to pay 44.00 shipping and the cold shoulder from customer service? You're a large corporation and you're ripping a consumer off for 44.00 ? SAD...... I have no working monitor, so you want me to wait 3 more days until you ship me a label? I actually thought with this big and reputable company it was not a big deal. To this day 2 weeks later no one will return my email

Monitor broken in the same way within 2 weeks after they fixed it, they claim it's a different problem and ask for money AGAIN lol.

Worked great! I pressed 2 for return request, rep answered, asked me to email a photo of the problem I'm having with the monitor and gave me a case number. They will evaluate the issue and respond.

I have got a Projector from US to India and all was till the powersupply unit failed after 6 months! I have been running around from all their support mail and RMA so called which is worst and they never bother to reply even after sending reminders, all that I got from them is we in india do not support outside country support so please get it fixed from the place you purchased!! they F^%%^ expect me to go to US shelling 4 times cost of this Projector and get it repaired! what a pity in today's world of fast service this so called brand should be banned for ever!

Viewsonic doesn't have own warranty service location in Canada,they are using third party company called NESA. I send my monitor to them 2 month ago, they are still waiting for parts when I called them this morning, good news is I can request a replacement unit because the repair process last more than 21 days. bad news is I have to wait another couple weeks.
Anyway, 2 months without any renew info or contact is too long, Viewsonic doesn't really take care of their customers.

Are you kidding me? I have to pay $60 to ship back this monitor that stopped working after 4 months? AND I have to find a box for it? AND I have to wait 2 weeks for it to be repaired?

ViewSonic does not care about the quality and reliability of its product. It does not care about customers.

For two months, I have e-mailed this company willing to settle for instructions on how to repair a VA903B LCD monitor.

They denied any assistance. He sends me this careless message on the end of his Friday shift.

I am Mr Ranjit I had a bad customer service experience of viewsonic.I thought I would share it with the blog community as a means to help learn what your staff should not do when a customer/client is dissatisfied.

I bought viewsonic LED in the last year.but now its having some issues in the lcd display.i was complaint in the viewsonic service centre on 30th mar 2013.They sent the engineer (Mr. Sagar) on 1st april 2013.he was come from next address (ACCEL FRONTLINE Unit no.326, 3rd floor, Pragati industrial estate, N M Joshi Marg, Lower Parel) He was checked The LED & he told their might problem with LED panel or main Board.then He told me I wil solve the Issue in next seven working days.I was agreed for that.but till now he is not to call me and not to give any information about the material.and when i was called in the accel Frontline they were talk very rudely with me.they are just give me only one answer. The material is not delivered & we dont know when it is delivered.

So i request you that please take a very quick action about your service and also staff.

And please reply me about my complaint on my Email

I own two projectors from this company, both of them have bad power supplies after only two years of service. I contacted them for the warranty repair, and ended up finding out that not only do I have to pay for the shipping to them, but it will take them 3 weeks to service the unit once it arrives. The 3 week mark came and went, and after calling to see when the unit was being shipped back to me, I was told that it would be shipping tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went, and I was told that it would be shipping out within the next few days. After a month of missing two projectors, I am just hoping that either of them come back at all! There was a time when I was impressed with ViewSonic, but it seems that time has come and passed as well.

I ordered and received a Viewsonic monitor Feb. 25th, it did not work. Support worked with me for quite a while, and then stated it should be returned for replacement. They gave me RMA, they received mine on 3/7 but still haven't sent me the new replacement. Now they say they are out of them and are looking to find one somewhere to ship to me. Each message states 24-48 hours and I have to bug them each time for an update. Last time I'll buy from them.

Have an outstanding issue not resolved by Viewsonic for about 3 months now!!!!!!!!!!!! It was for my 10" Digital Picture Frame. The remote was not working and a replacement was to be sent to me. About 3 months later, still no word. Sent numerous emails to chase and all they can do is provide some words about "valued customer" and "appreciate the opportunity to assist you" usual wording.

Placed an order with them, a week later they said it's was canceled for reason CC not approved. I ordered hundred and hundred of items using my CC. This company is a joke.

this is the worst customer service in Canada, I would never ever buy a viewsonic product because their warranty does not cost anything. We have viewpad7 that broke during the warranty period and was sent for exchange. They still did not send me anything and it is 3 months since the case was opened. Avoid viewsonic or you can fall in situation that you paid for expensive product and you can not use it.

i bought a tablet and it had to be fixed one time then it broke again they said that they would replace it . so i mailed it to them and then they said it would be shipped out and at my place within 5 to 7 days it has now been 56 days and they have lost my tablet and say that it has never made it there but i have the paper work from canada post that says that they did get it and they did sign for it i have phoned them about 30 time and tryed to find out if anything has been done on this and i get the same thing every time that i phone they say it will be shiped soon or they cant find it or its in calaforna or the rma dep is closed for the night i dont think that there is anything else that they could say that would not shoke me i did phone agin today and they still say that they cant find it i will not every buy from them again and if i am in a store and see someone trying to buy there things i will make sure that i tell them about all the problem that i had and that if i was them i would not buy there things soon there will be legal action against them sorry to say buy good luck to all you others out there that have they viewsnoic garbage

Do not EVER buy a Viewsonic monitor if you have any hopes of getting warranty work done. They are dishonest and do not care if you ever get satisfied. My monitor has been out for 3 months and all they want to do is offer me subquality alternative RMA replacements. They ARE THIEVES.

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of trying to work with. Sent them a defective monitor. They sent me back a different monitor (lesser quality product) and changed the information in their system about what I sent to match what they sent back to me. The returned product is defective too. When I contacted them about the junk they sent me, they said their was a problem because MY information does not match what's in their system. I HAVE MY RECEIPT, but that doesn't matter to them. Talk about an absolutely worthless company and their people. Given the quality of service they deliver, they might as well not bother to answer the phone because, in the end, they're going to screw the customer every time. Will NEVER BUY ANOTHER VIEWSONIC PRODUCT and will pass my experience on to EVERY PERSON I EVER MEET. Might just go hang out at retail stores where Viewsonic products are sold just to warn others.

I'm going to be very brief because I am so disgusted with Viewsonic's RMA dept. They've had my hi-res monitor for months. They've offered to send me two different alternative monitors of lower quality. I will never buy another Viewsonic monitor and I will tell everyone I know not to buy this brand. Their RMA people are rude, lazy, and apparently not capable of doing repairs.

I was pretty pleased with my original Can$300 something Viewpad 7 purchased in Canada but unfortunately it broke down suddenly within 6 months of use. I followed Viewsonic's online support's instruction to return everything in the original packaging to their office for a repair or replacement. The earphones, power adapter and the faux leather tablet case/cover were so well-kept that they're sent back to them with my defective VPAD 7 like new. I spent extra money to send the parcel via overnight express to their office on Dec 11, 2011 and they received and issued the PMA ticket number R1057869-1 on Dec 12, 2011. Then they took one full month to return another to me and I finally received the parcel on Jan 11, 2012. But what I have received from them are disappointingly the following:

1. A refurbished VPAD 7 of an older serial number without front and back screen protectors, my expensive screen protector that I sent with my original tablet is also missing. I don't really mind this though.
2. The original set of handfree earphones is missing (now received back after weeks of complaint).
3. The power adapter is dirty and covered with lots of sticker glue. And it becomes hot after plugging in for a short while.
4. The USB cable becomes a very cheap dollar shop one instead of the original one.
5. The faux leather tablet case/cover is old and torn and pressed with wrinkles as if it has been opened and closed 1000 times. It is loose and some tread-lining on the side is broken. The elastic band that's used to hold the cover is also loose. It is also not flat, with protruding sewing material from the inside of the flip cover that unduly scratches the screen of the tablet when it's closed.
6. Worst of all: While my original VPAD 7 had an Android v.2.2.2 ROM, this returned one only has the very buggy v.2.2.1. Some of my purchased Apps cannot be restored or run on it.
7. This returned tablet has problem reading my microSD. While I had no problem using a 32GB micoSD on my original VPAD 7, now at least 9 out of 10 times I have to reboot a few times or reinsert the microSD to get it working even when the microSD is only 8GB.
8. The GPS sensor has a problem that the coordinates and directions are deviated.
9. Even the packaging box is torn and pressed

It is highly ridiculous that they took away my 6-month old Viewpad 7 when I sent them back last December for a repair/replacement but they replaced it with a very old and still problematic one featuring a very buggy and even older Android ROM of version older than mine after having kept me waiting for a full month instead of 14 days as they claimed for the turnaround time.

They seem to be just swapping faulty ones, and give customers even worse ones, depending on the customer's luck.

I have contacted Viewsonic numerous times for this issue but they either ignored my complaint or took ages to reply. My messages were not responded even when they're addressed to Viewsonic's chairman Mr James Chu.

And now they kept me waiting for months for their resolution and finally today (Jan 30, 2012) they ridiculously replied that they could send me back a new one only if I had a receipt that showed the corresponding purchase of my tablet was made within the last 30 days. What's the fool's logic for this? They know clearly it's purchased a few months ago already before I sent them back for the repair/replacement. Even their last reply took more than 30 days!

9/9/2011 Shipped gtablet to service for repair – unit not charging.

9/23/2011 Tablet returned . Charger working fine but tablet now has stuck pixels(bright blue) and case creaks, plastic to plastic noise, mostly in upper right corner. Appears tablet not reassembled correctly. Both problems did not exist prior to repair.

9/23/2011 Called gtablet customer service, the person I talked to took all the info about the problem and said he would contact me in 15 minutes after checking with the person who worked on my tablet. While on the phone he looked up the repair order and said the motherboard was replaced. Never heard from them again.Called again a while later and had to leave a message as tech support was busy. Again no return call from support.

9/26/2011 Contacted Viewsonic customer support via email regarding lack of reply from gtablet support. Received an email with a case number (C1115399) and was told my case had been escalated to corporate and that I would be hearing from them in 24 to 48 hours as that is the typical amount of time to get an answer from corporate.

10/5/2011 Called Viewsonic customer support as I did not hear back regarding email of 9/26. Lady said would again escalate case and stated I would have an answer within 2 days. She also said I should get a replacement tablet as tablet shouldn’t have been returned in with newly created problems. Again never heard back from Viewsonic.

10/13/2011 Talked to Steve at Viewsonic customer support – explained the problem. Once again was told case would be escalated and guaranteed that I would hear from someone in 2 days or less.

Now it is 10/24/2011 and have yet to hear from Viewsonic. Has anyone at Viewsonic got a clue how to deal with the public. Obviously you don’t get many repeat customers. I am now retired, but used to custom build and sell computers. My preferred monitors were Viewsonics as your products and customer support were great. It would appear that is no longer the case.

Finally received a email from Viewsonic telling me Gtablet support would be contacting me. Gtablet support now wants me to send them the unit they screwed up, again at my expense, so they cant take another couple of weeks, and probable ship me a more screwed up unit. Again contacted Viewsonic corporate and they refuse to help.

Stay away from Viewsonic as their customer service, once great, is now non-existant.

I bought a 120hz monitor for 3D, it needed some repairs so I sent it in. When it returned, it lost it's 120hz and now is ONLY 60hz. I'm not dumb, I'm using a Dual link DVI and I have 2 other Identicle monitors for Nvidia 3D surround... I contacted them, they said "The HZ is not a part of your monitor, that is a part of your Graphics cards settings." I said, yes but it doesn't go above 120hz like it's does with my other 2 monitors. Then they said "Nothing was done with your repairs." I'm totally confused, it's worse the BROKEN NOW!?!!?

Just got off the phone with Viewsonic, no hassle, no automated systems and friendly quick service! In todays world where everything is automated and it takes forever to get a person on the phone, it is nice to find a company that has people working for them instead of machines. The young lady that helped me was quick, efficient and friendly. Two thumbs up!
