My hard drive for my cameras is toast. I have spent more than 6 hours on hold over the past two days, only speaking to a human once. I could barely understand him. After going through many steps he told my to hook the system up to the internet and then call back, I have been calling back repeatedly and sitting on hold for ridiculous amounts of time. One call I sat on hold two hours before hanging up.

So far terrible. I called to get my wifi camera up and running. Instead I was told I had to purchase a service plan for $70 for a year. Almost as much as the camera I purchased.

I called back and have been on hold for 51 min and counting.

Best to return the camera for a full refund at this point. Shame is that the camera had a great rating.

Have a trendnet home security Webcam tvip851wc....could not access it with my Samsung tablet...would no longer accept my user name or password to reset it....found out trendnet no longer works with chrome....service department does not answer phones ....bad product....very poor customer service....look elsewhere for better quality products and service

It is difficult for a customer service to overcome a bad product. I bought a set of Trendnet TPL4052E powerline ethernet transceivers and they don't work further than you could string a 20' cable. The Indian customer support had no solution from non-existant transmission rates from one receptacle breaker circuit to another. The advertised rates only apply to units on the same breaker. Trendnet offers no solution or refunds for their poor performance.

bought powerline adapters 2 kits. would not accept passwords. one and one half hours on hold for tech support. phone battery died. returned kits to store.

New TrendNet camera I paid 220 USD.

Not worked from the beginning.

I asked the help desk who asked me more money for "premium support". I paid TrendNet the surplus for "premium support".

Still not working.

Never worked.

Useless TrendNet Device.

Conclusion :
------------
Impossible to get reimbursed, because in Europe TrendScam do not reimburse nor repair their plastic device. So they said. My loss.

2 usd toy product Made in China.
220 usd in the trash can.
TrendNet profit 218 usd ( 99% ).

customer no service, reachability diffficult. took me better than a week of doing the same load the program, uninstall the program, reload, ect, then new "tech" repeat process, product truly sucks. tech support worse. do not purchase anything from this company.

this is bull this company sucks im never buying another trendnet nothing i have been trying to download drivers for hours for their wireless card im switching to tplink least their website is online.

Trendnet outsources all their labor and support to countries such as India. Fluent English, French, and Spanish is not a job requirement. Their tech support is not tech at all. They have no tech training or experience. They read from a script given to them by their employer. This is the POOREST support line in existence today!

HORRIBLE customer service. Besides not being able to understand the lady who was most likely in India, she was not very knowledgeble about the product. Every time I asked my question she would change the subject. My problem - low signal on wireless internet. Her solution - download latest firmware (which I had allready done) and wait 2 hours. Since when do you have to wait 2 hours for firmware to take effect? I work in the Information Technology industry and have never heard of having to wait more than a couple minutes for firmware to take effect. I will never purchace a Trendnet product again.

Excellent support, not sure what these other posts are about. There was a very small amount of hold time, the tech support guy was very knowledgeable, and his Indian accent was barely noticeable. This is my second experience with these guys, and I have had a 100% good time with them.

They resolved my issue is 10 minutes!
