I have tried 4 different phone number for there customer service department and can not reach any of them! I m trying to get a package issue resolved for a customer and have no way to get in contact with Harry and Davids to resolve!

Yesterday my friend Mary and I (Tina) shopped at the Waterloo NY Harry & David's store.



It was a very busy day in the store, and one of the associates, Margaret Was the first individual to help us. Margaret was very knowledgeable about products and very pleasant to talk to. Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? One thing my friend and I both wanted was an artichoke dip.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? There was just one jar on the shelf, so Margaret went to the back but return shortly and stated that someone else was going to retrieve the artichoke dip as it was locked and she didnÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½t have the key. Both Mary and I said ok and continued our shopping. Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? We shopped some more, and no one came out with any, so we went to the counter and asked again if there was any more.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? This is when Kim, the asst. Mgr. said that she was checking on it.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She said she would go out back and look.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ten minutes went by, and we decided to check out instead of waiting any longer.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? The store was very crowded and we were ready so I Checked out first. Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Sandra was the associate behind the counter and she too was very nice and helpful.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Just as I completed my transaction, Kim came back up to the register and said "here, I found the dip".Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? I said thank you, but I've already cashed out.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Very rudely Kim yelled "I told you I would be right back!Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Everyone just looked at her in shock.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She wasn't polite, she wasn't kind.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She was extremely rude about it and very loud.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? I was very embarrassed and visually upset, and after the shock wore off, said I'm sorry, but you should not be talking to me like that.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Starr another associate was also behind the counter saw that I was very embarrassed, as was everyone in the store that could hear Kim.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? We asked to speak with the manager, and that's when we found out it was Kim.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Kim went back to the stock room and hid at this point.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? She did not apologize, or even make eye contact With us.

That was not the case yesterday in your Waterloo store.Ã?Æ?�Ã?â??Ã? I donÃ?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½Ã?¯Ã?¿Ã?½t usually write or complain but I have never felt as embarrassed about the treatment that I received in your store. No one should ever be treated that way. I feel like you need to know what happened, and hopefully want to do something to rectify it.

This review is for an online order placed on 11/4/16. I have been a regular H & D customer over the years, but won't be ordering again at least for next year. I would usually give them 4 stars for the quality of the items, but the high costs, especially for shipping to Canadian relatives reign in my rating. This year they get a 1, for a 2 average overall. I ordered two items on 11/4 to be delivered by 12/14. I paid $32 in shipping. One was delivered 12/22, the other on 12/28. That one was really inexcusable since the item was supposed to have been there for sure by Christmas. Harry & David is crediting me back $12 (not even half of the original shipping cost) and sending me a 20% coupon off a future (not) order. I am looking forward to trying out Figi's, Pittman&Davis, Sharri's Berries and many other companies out there for at least next year. Very disappointing. I think they should have given me back half the shipping for item #1 and refunded the entire amount for the second item.

I have never had issues with them prior to this Christmas. I ordered four items on December 11th to be sent to four addresses - three in TX and one in CA. I used Paypal to pay and it showed the approved total for all four items ($156.56). My online account still shows all four items with the same order #. The three items for TX were delivered and deducted from the original Paypal amount ($115.77). I was never charged for the item to be sent to CA, however it was never delivered and supposedly they only show three items in that order. When I called originally, I spoke to a cordial but very hard to understand woman with a foreign accent. I could not get anywhere with her. She was not willing to go any further than to say they only show three items. Seriously?
I then sent an email with a .pdf document showing a screen shot from my computer screen showing that the fourth item was still there as part of the order and a .pdf doc of my Paypal account transaction showing the order on the 11th with the total of $156.56 approved and at the time only $115.77 deducted. After providing the information for the recipient of the missing item, the response was we only show three items. Basically - too bad so sad...
Clearly they have computer/software issues with their orders. Or the customer service folks don't have access to the entire system. Training issues? I don't know, but they definitely don't seem to be willing to solve the problems.
I will be looking elsewhere for my Christmas gifts next year.

So disappointed in this company. Ordered a gift basket for my only to have it never ship even though they charged my credit card. An even bigger issue is that the online chat representatives ended the sessions without verifying anything about the shipment, and all phone calls were at least 30 minutes on hold before a representative would answer and hang up without finding out what happened to the shipment. Instead of getting angry with them, I just denied the credit card charges. I don't like to ever yell at people on the phone.

I placed Order Number W00xxxx on December 13, 2016 with the understanding that the order would be delivered "On Or Before Christmas". Tracking my order one week later reveals that the order(s) are slated to be delivered "On Or Before December 30, 2016."

I called the company on December 21 and spoke with one of their Customer Service people. This person told me that not only would the order NOT be delivered by Christmas, BUT THAT PART OF THE ORDER HAD BEEN CANCELLED!

This is my first order experience with Harry and David. It WILL be my last.

DON'T TRUST THEM TO DO THE JOB!

I wanted to get my password reset to see the status of my order and that is like asking to solve world peace. I have tried to do it myself, have called customer service and they said they would send it and have not done so and it is NOT in my junk email. They are awful and I will NEVER EVER use this company again!!!!

Going on my account online, I find NO RECORD of my order. I call the customer support and was told there was a 15 minute wait. I was disconnected at 13 minutes. I logged onto there chat online. I HAVE BEEN ON CHAT WITH HARRY & DAVID FOR OVER AN HOUR NOW. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST!!!

I ordered a gift for a friend on the 4th of December and called her today to check if the gift was received. My friend told me that the gift has not arrived. I checked the shipping status, which states the delivery on the 9th of December.
I called the customer service this afternoon and spend over 45 min on hold till I got to talk to the customer service representative. I was told that he was sorry that the gift did not get delivered and that he can send another package after 23rd of December. I explained that this will not work as the gift recipients are traveling and leaving the country on 20th of December. I asked to ship another gift that would arrive before 20th of December or fully refund me. I was told that they cannot do either of those things. Needless to say I am very disappointed with total lack of customer service and plan to never buy from them again.

Just spent 40 minutes trying to order via phone. Using the catalogue we received yesterday as a guide. Their Computer was so slow the sales person was having a real problem with my six item order. Hopefully the order went through.
worst telephone order in years.
Won't do this again. Also said wait time was 11 minutes and was 20.

What a mess! Your company obviously made changes to your website and now your company is unreliable for both business and personal orders! I cannot even begin to tell you all the problems I've encountered but I can tell you for sure that I will never again order from you. What a mess! Issues:

1.Website did not allow me to add addresses to product ordered for multiple recipients.

2. Calls placed (3) were answered by foreigners who kept repeating they were sorry and they could help. This also happened in the chat twice. Not one could resolve it.

3. Today I get a notice from my Amex card that there is a $20 refund for H&D and when I go to log in there is no order to look up Can't find your order? Please call 1-877-322-1200

I tried to order today on line but ran into a problem and after reaching Customer Service for assistance, I waited 7 minutes and then received a busy signal. So I redialed and this time was told it was a 22 minute wait.
So I just backed out of my online order and will not try again - getting a busy signal after waiting and then having to wait even longer on a second call is not good business!

I've ordered gifts from H&D for years. Now this year it seems they've added a HUGE shipping charge. I called customer service and was told you can only avoid that by using a promo code on the back of a printed catalog or signing up for one of these "for a fee" memberships that only make sense if you order a ton each year. Who uses print catalogs anymore? Mine go right in the garbage and I order online. Anyway, had spent an hour shopping online and didn't want to start over so I dug my catalog out of the recycling bin and entered the free shipping code. The website said the promo code had been accepted successfully, but only half of the shipping charge was removed. I called customer service again and they didn't know why it didn't work. Ordering from them now is too expensive and complicated; I'm going to find another source for these types of products - there are plenty out there.

Harry and David's Charged my bank account twice for my purchase of $233.75.
They kept my money illegally from Friday morning when my released the money
to them they keep another $233.75 until Monday at 2:00 PM all weekend long.]
I can not believe they can legally do this. Consumers beware do not purchase
from this company!!!!!!

I echo the complain of November 17th. Harry & David also double charged my card also. Two transactions for $140 each. Been on hold with their 800 line for over 15 minutes. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I was charged double for an order. I made three phone calls then switched to emails. Each time I was given assurance that someone would get back to me. NO RESPONSE!!!! I finally contacted my bank and asked them to reverse the payment. This was my first (and last) order thru Harry and David. BEWARE - I was told by H&D customer service that the double-charge issue has been happening a lot lately.

NEVER send an e-gift card from Harry and David or any other company related to them. I had a terrible time trying to use it in a store. They told me the e-gift card was a scam therefore invalid. I have contacted customer service about 4 times now and still have not addressed this issue. No one seems to know what they are doing and keep passing me to the next person or hanging up on me! I am now trying to use email contact for customer service and they are telling me that I need to contact a different department. This is getting ridiculous. I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out that I just want a refund and still having trouble with them.

I have just placed my holiday order for the 20th year on H&D online. A horrible experience. I made a mistake and cannot correct it, wrong delivery date, and no one answers the phone and there is literally no place to correct the mistake. My order is a total of over $500, and I do this every year. Next year, no more H & D, it is just too frustrating. I order online from K.C. Steaks, Omaha Steaks, Amazon, etc., and never had a more horrible experience.

Last evening, I came home to find a Harry and David box of pears delivered to my home. They were a gift from a friend, who sent them to me for my birthday, which was January 21. When I opened the box I was appalled to see that the pears were downright rotten. No, they were not 'overly ripe,' they were ROTTEN. The pears were actually black in color and bruised to the point where they were almost mush. In addition to that, the pears had a terrible odor to them; so bad that I had to throw them down the trash compactor. But before I threw them out, I called Harry and David and explained to them about what happened. The woman who answered the phone was all apologetic, and asked me what I would like the company to send me to 'compensate' for the rotten pears. I chose some kind of gouda cheese she suggested. However, she told me that they were 'out of stock' on the cheese, and for me to pick another item. I finally settled on some yogurt-covered pretzels. At least I knew that they would not come to my home rotten.

I cannot believe that pears could ripen that fast. They were ordered on January 21, and they came to my home on January 25. How can pears rot that badly in 4 days?? And believe me, the smell was beyond belief. They actually STUNK. No, I am not exaggerating. The pears had an odor that was so repulsive, I had to get them out of the house - and fast.

The thing that upsets me the most is that the woman who sent me the pears is a friend of mine. She's one lovely lady, I can tell you that. The sad thing about all this is that the lady is a shut-in and is disabled. She took the time to send me these pears, and I did not have the heart to tell her how they arrived. So I called her to thank her for the pears, and I raved about them. But I was lying through my teeth.

No, I am not a customer of Harry and David. And you can bet your booties that I never will be. If fruit can spoil that badly in the short amount of time it took to deliver the fruit from wherever your warehouse is to Yonkers, New York, then you are selling spoiled merchandise. I will never order anything from you company - EVER. And you can take THAT to the bank! This was a horrible experience. In the future, make sure that the fruit you send out at least starts off a little hard so they don't ripen so quickly, arriving at their destination ROTTEN.

I ordered my gift basket on 12/16 and paid for expedited shipping. On 12/24 they email me that what I ordered was no longer available and they're putting something else in it's place and it would arrive 12/26. This is garbage. Never again with this company. I ordered smoked salmon and they are sending a fruit basket!!!!!

This company is pure trash, by gift baskets for my clients were supposed to be delived by 12/18, I ordered them on Thanksgiving. Today is 12/16 and they haven't even shipped. Pissed off. Credit card dispute coming.

I scheduled a delivery date for December 7th, 2015 - my order confirmation says Estimated Arrival : CHRISTMAS

Such a huge discrepancy! The order was for a birthday gift, not a Christmas gift. And what date is CHRISTMAS? Since when did that, instead of an actual date, become acceptable?

This is the second time in a row I experienced shipping issues. For this issue, I had actually used a coupon I previously received for having f---ed up my previous order. Ridiculous.

Customer service wanted $19.99 to schedule the shipment for 12/14, 7 days after the date I originally selected. Ridiculous.

The request for feedback was is much too long, no one has the time to answer,I saw no plae to comment on theproducts so I am sending this,
I was surprised to find the special peach offer for $19.95 had only 4 peaches, there was no information on this, in the invitation I was sent- It makes each peach worth $5 !! which is FAR too much for any piece of fruit
I was not happy to learn this, had to order 2 boxes at $40 to make it a gift, no one cares to get 4 peaches, no matter how delicious they are, one can get very good ones in the super market for $1.49/lb now.

I shopped recently at Harry & David Store 568 at Lee Premium Outlets in Lee, Massachusetts. Even though they're a bit pricey, it's the go-to place to treat yourself (or someone else)! The team member that took care of my transaction was Anthony and he was, by far, one of the nicest people I've met in a long time! It might be a good idea to clone Anthony and have him in lots of places where the public deals!

Today I was in store #844 in the Queenstown Premium Outlets, Queenstown,MD
The yung lady, Brandy, was VERY helpful,pleastant and store smart.
I purchased two H&D Chicken pot pies that were on sale. I did not have a cooler to put them in and would not be home for serveral hours. She said they had a styrafoam one and in the back and she packed it with ice for me.
I do shop there at times and hopefully she will be there to help me. A very good employee. As I had walked in the store she offered me a free sample, Yes, I did take one. Keep up the good work, Brandy.
Carmen Slomkowsk. She also gave me coupons for July with a recipe.

I want to thank Tim in customer service for his ability to make an issue a pleasant experience. The issue had already been taken care of by Harry and David, and he politely pointed this out, plus extending a 20% credit on my next order. I LOVE Harry and Davids, and will continue to shop for gifts, especially at holiday time.

I was having a very difficult experience with Harry and David, as I work for one management company that represents three properties, and so I was submitting three different orders, and I admit, it was confusing. However, I started getting calls from employees at Harry and David telling me to contact them due to a problem with the order, and when I would, we would go in circles. After two hours speaking with various customer services representatives, I asked to speak to a manager, and was transferred to the Exectuive Services Team, and Priscilla. She did such a wonderful job understanding what I needed, and made it a joy to work with her. I was ready to canel our $1700.00 order, but after speaking with her, I can't wait to call again next year! Thanks!
