This isn't the first time I've bought a 3m product and been entirely unsatisfied.
Their paint tape and handing hooks are awful and do not live up to their promise.
I bought painters tape at Lowe's and within 15 minutes it had all peaked off. I could hear it peeling as soon as I put it on. The wall was cleaned and dry. Painters tape that doesn't stick to a wall won't do me any good.
I will never buy from them again and they should be asshamed. I hope they read these reviews and make some changes I'm clearly not the only disgruntled customer.

I just bought your blue sponge. In one week the stink in my kitchen was unreal. I finally through out after a week's use. You are a company I used to have faith in...no more...over a dang sponge. What else are you doing?

I don't normally comment but I have been trying to hang a few pictures with 3M command damAge free hanging strips/tape. What a waste of time and money, and I can't find my receipt to return the goods. They were as good as useless and I followed the instructions to the book. Grrrrrrrrr.....

I purchased 5 roll's of 3 m blue hawk painters tape and not one roll of tape was any good wouldn't even stick to the wall home depot wouldn't take back because they had been used so I ended up throwing them into the trash I am a contractor in Sacramento

Employees lack knowledge on how to complete a task in their own department. This could be due to lack of training. I find the staff to be very slow and does not make the effort to satisfy their customers needs. As a customer, I feel unappreciated and frustrated by the lack of information and the excessive wait time it takes to receive an order. For me although the staff is friendly and polite over the phone, it is not enough if the company does not deliver results.

Ioban was used by my surgeon during a reverse total shoulder replacement on Feb. 11, 2016. This was done even after I told everyone I could that my skin is thin and any tape takes it off. Needless to say about a 4x4 hunk of my skin was taken off. The surgery has been much easier than the large skin tear. I am being treated by a wound specialists with a nurse dressing the wound every day. This has been a very painful experience for me and inexcusable.

If you have an e-mail address I will be happy to send you a picture the nurse has taken of the wound.

Your ioban has not only cost me money but has given me a lot of pain.

I am a general contractor in western Washington. And have been for about 30 years. Lately 3m as come out with a easy lock masking tape parentheses blue I can't tell you how horribly terrible this blue tape is I'm not even sure what to say I would never use it again it was a waste of my money as expensive as it is it's terrible absolutely terrible wooden stick on its best day.

The new Scotch Brite pads for the Clean Curve Dish Wand are useless. The new bit at the top flops around - you can't put any pressure on it to actually clean - so you can't reach corners with it. The picture on the front of the packaging shows it being used to wash glasses, but unless that's all you wash, you should skip buying this.

3M Sandblaster 60 grit, slip-in sandpaper for a palm sander; the worst brand on the marketing for function, longevity, and price. When having recently done, an 'accidental' side-by-side comparison with three different brands, the term "competitor" doesn't apply. The 3M sheet lasted 1/4 of the time, and cost more at the initial buy-in.

Factor in that there is ZERO contact information on their package, and it shows how very little confidence they have in their products. CLEARLY, those at 3M know how inferior their products are, and feel as they need to 'hide' from comment.

I bought your wall hangers.. paid a rediculous amount for them. They were all worthless and are now in the trash. I followed instructions exactly and stayed within weight limit. Eight hours after hanging I now have two shattered picture frames and a shattered PRICELESS clock. Gone. Goodbye money.. just like that. Gone. Not including the clock?? $80. Poof. Thanks a lot.

I just wasted over six dollars on the 3M Command damage-free hanging hooks. It said they would hold up to 3 lbs., but it more like won't hold anything! I followed instructions for installation exactly.

I am extrememly upset with 3M Scotch Brite the conflicting information from your own 800 number is absurd. In fact from your own people. I spoke with a wonderful woman Jodi Price then was told the complete opposite information. Your company cannot be trusted and the coupons you published cannot be believed or tracked since your still way behind the times in issueing pdf files...which can lead to coupon fraud. i will never recommend your company again...Shameful.

About 5 months ago I purchased the self adhesive Camnmondo Strips with hooks to place two very special plaques on the wall in the kitchen.
I didn't want to use nails and saw your advertisement on TV. I went to Lowe's and purchased a package and followed the instructions to the T. They are suppose to hold up to 5 or 10 lbs. The spoon and fork only weighed about 1 lb each at the most. They are very fine thin porcelain. They are hand painted and hold a special sentimental value. Last night I was watching TV and heard a bang and went into the kitchen to find the spoon on the kitchen floor, in pieces. Very dissapointing. It is irreplaceable and your advertisement was false. This is very surprising for a 3M product. We have photographs of what happened to the spoon. It can't be repaired. If you would like to see them, let me know and I will e-mail them to you.

I called to find the status of my order - website tracking stated not available...So I emailed, no repsonse...So two days later I called, and was told that I AGREED in the terms and conditions that all orders can take 6 to 10 BUSINESS DAYS to process and THEN UPS can take 3 to 5 business days to ship...I read the terms and conditions and NO where does it state 6 to 10 business days to process - WHO HAS that kind of time, when you are running a business and need supplies. If I told my customers that time line, I would be out of business...

The lady was RUDE - I have tried to find an email address to corp office -no luck....

Shop3m just lost a long time customer - I have ordered from them in the past - shipping was great and timely.

Shop 3m needs to address their phone operators that LIE - and speed up their order process.

I was pleasantly surprised today by your company. I had purchased a 3M aircleaner (the FAP01) within the last 1 to 2 yrs. The filter had done it's job, & was totally filled with dust. I needed a new filter; but looked ALL OVER & in addition, called some stores. I was disappointed, as I could not find the filter, nor even the machine. But today I googled up 3M's phone number. The employees that I dealt with (a young man initially, & then a young woman; wish I could recall their names) were both prompt, polite & knowledgable. The woman explained that your company hasn't been able to locate a store that will distribute the filters or the machines. Anyway, she said that she'll send me a courtesy filter & an order blank for the future. THANKS! I appreciate the gesture!
